Stop Work Meeting NSW Teachers Federation

Dear Parents and Caregivers, As you are aware the NSW Teachers Federation has recommended that members attend a stop work meeting on the morning of Friday 18th May.

About half the staff at Baulkham Hills North have indicated that they will be attending the stop work meeting. Normal school routines will not operate prior to 10:25am however, the school will be open.

I expect that children will be grouped according to their grade and that the school will cater appropriately for all students who attend between 8:25 and 10:25.

  • Children who walk to school will be provided with refreshments regardless of their arrival time.

  • The biggest morning tea will go ahead between 8:30 and 11:00am

  • Kindergarten staff have slightly changed the timing of activities for Dinosaur Day and will send a separate note home to parents.

  • The canteen will be open.

  • Before and After School Care will operate as normal.

In summary: Friday 18th  May

 ·          Routines between 8:25 and 10:25 will be affected by staff attendance at the stop work meeting.

·          Kindergarten parents should check for a new information note about Dinosaur Day

·          Walk to school and morning tea will go ahead.

·          The canteen will be open.

·          Before/After School Care will be operating as normal.

Yours faithfully

Peter Robinson

Principal
